With the temperature hitting 30 degrees on the last day of August, for those in Sydney, summer has certainly let us know it’s on the way. This couldn’t have come at a better time as the team swapped out any remnants of seasonal depression for lunches in the park and boat days. We’ve embraced this change and many others as the temperature has warmed. These changes include new roadmaps and features, and new hires being welcomed with open arms.
This air of change also extends to the industry, as new workplace legislation has shaken up the way we all work, and the warmer temperatures have seen us shake off those pesky winter maintenance requests. We encourage everyone to use this period of change to spring clean, refocus and realign with your goals, as well as put an emphasis on spending time outdoors.
6,000 milestone celebration
In mid-August the team banded together, to celebrate our 6,000 agency milestone. It was an opportunity for our Australian and New Zealand-wide team to come together and relax after a monumental push to establish a majority market share. For many team members, this was their first time meeting our international team. The afternoon was spent sailing around the harbour on a pirate ship, which was an unexpected bucket list item for many team members.
It was an afternoon well spent, with engaging conversations, delightful food and far too many pirate hats. One of the most memorable moments was when our founders released the sails on the ship, harnessing their inner Jack Sparrow. August Release
Whilst we’re full steam ahead for our early September release, we were also excited to release our PropertyMe Marketplace in late August. The PropertyMe Marketplace allows you to view and take control of all of your integrations within the platform. Not only can you see which of our 54 Integrators you’re connected to but you can also disconnect from any that you don’t require.

O’Brien Gala Awards
We love any opportunity to connect with our community particularly our Victorian users who always greet us with a smile and conversation. So it was no surprise that Head of Relationships, Fiona and Trainer, Scott jumped at the opportunity to attend the O’Brien Gala Awards. The evening was hosted at the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne and understandably featured delectable food and drinks, to accompany the thought-provoking conversations.
We were privileged to sponsor the event and present the Residential Growth Specialist Award, awarding the Langwarrin, Berwick and Mornington offices on their exceptional work over the past year in particular. Keep up the great work, we can’t wait to celebrate again with you in the future.

Wear It Purple Day
It’s always important to embrace diversity, particularly for a day that strives to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for young people. Wear It Purple Day is an annual LGBTIQA+ awareness day that aims to create a sense of inclusivity and diversity. The PropertyMe office celebrated the occasion over two days, with informational flyers, merchandise and of course, delicious baked goods. While it’s important to promote inclusivity on a particular day, take this as your opportunity to exercise every day to ensure your workplace promotes diversity.
