A better payments experience, powered by the new Trustless

Feature releases

Managing payments, disbursements and MePay adoption shouldn’t mean more work for your team. Our latest updates provide clearer visibility into MePay adoption across your portfolio, expand how tenants can pay while reducing the manual steps behind the scenes.
These updates are based on what our community has been asking for as Trustless and MePay continue to evolve.
Getting tenants onto MePay is one thing. Knowing how many actually are and where they’re dropping off, is another. The new MePay Dashboard gives you a visual, funnel-based view of adoption across your rental properties, from total tenancies through to those with active recurring payments.
It’s available to MePay Fast and MePay Direct Debit customers. Trustless customers can access it via the Trustless dashboard.
From the dashboard, you can bulk enable MePay across all your properties in one step and pull up a filtered list of tenancies not yet using MePay and follow up directly.

Chasing up MePay adoption tenant by tenant takes precious time that you just don’t have. The Properties > Rentals grid now includes two new columns:
The new columns allow you to see the status of each tenancy at a glance without having to open individual records.
Use the filters to segment your portfolio by MePay status and target your communications to specific tenants accordingly. You can also enable MePay for one or more tenancies directly from the Actions dropdown.

It’s easy to get tenants set up on MePay in the app, but there’s always a few who prefer to stick with their usual banking. Generating a unique BSB and account number for each tenancy gives them a familiar payment option, while still keeping everything connected in PropertyMe.
From the tenant’s perspective, it looks like a standard bank transfer. Behind the scenes, the details are unique to their tenancy, so payments are correctly tracked. For Trustless users, PropertyMe will also automatically generate a receipt for the payment.
Tenants can pay rent and invoices directly using these details. As long as they include the correct reference, PropertyMe will automatically allocate the payment. You can also view exactly what they entered via the new payer payment reference field.
For shared tenancies, multiple tenants can pay into the same account details. If something needs adjusting after a tenant makes a payment, you can fix it with the reverse, reallocate and receipt workflow.
This new option sits alongside existing MePay methods, including:
Trustless users can now pay owner bills as soon as they come in, using the available Trustless balance.
Previously, bills were only paid when an owner was disbursed. If something urgent came up, you had to bring the disbursement date forward just to get it paid.
Now, you can simply select the bill and pay it straight away. There’s no need to adjust schedules or work around the system.
The payment will still be picked up in the next disbursement run without changing the disbursement schedule, so everything stays aligned in the background.
It’s a faster way to handle urgent supplier invoices, with more control when timing matters.
Daily disbursements don’t suit every payment, especially when it comes to things like management fees. Now you can decide how often each supplier gets paid. Set a schedule that fits how you run things, whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, twice a month or monthly.
When the date rolls around, the payment goes out automatically and the statement is sent at the same time.
You’re in control of the timing, and you’re not stuck with daily payments if they don’t make sense. You can still pay suppliers manually whenever you need to, but the regular ones can take care of themselves in the background.
These updates give you more flexibility across payments, as well as better visibility into MePay adoption across your whole portfolio.
