10 signs you’re a top tier Property Manager
Property Management
PropertyMe
Can you hear those jingle bells? We certainly can. With only 26 days until Christmas, the excitement and merriness is building in the office. We cannot wait for a well-earned break to rest and recharge with loved ones, and we hope you get the chance to do the same. Whether you’re a Christmas carol enthusiast, Starbucks holiday menu connoisseur or avid beachgoer, we encourage you to start unwinding.
2025 will be an exciting year for the industry, as we continue to focus on innovation and work hand-in-hand with our community. But before we can do that, we must acknowledge the work we’ve achieved in 2024 and take a quick breather. We hope you all do the same, after all this past year has been momentous in many ways. With that being said, let’s take a look at what November held for the team.
Our Chief Customer Officer, Sarah Dawson was honoured to represent PropertyMe on the Proptech Associations’ Roundtable with NSW Rental Commissioner, Trina Jones. The pair led discussions on how proptech can assist the real estate industry in navigating rental reforms through tech solutions. It was fantastic to be involved as the opportunity and need for proptech to deliver solutions for changing industry requirements has never been more palpable than now, spanning across issues like affordability, legislative reforms, compliance and sustainability requirements.
In November we were excited to release several updates to some of your favourite features! This included updates to 360° Inspection Photos, Lease Renewals, Tasks, Bills AI and MePay. We’re appreciative of the feedback we received on the release and are pleased that you’re loving the updates. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty.
Track and manage tenancy agreements
We’ve streamlined the process for adding renewal dates, allowing you to apply renewal dates and fees directly within a Lease Renewal. Beyond that, you can also easily track and manage the history of tenancy agreements, including information relating to the original agreements, renewals and cancellations. This is set to support Property Managers with evolving rental reforms and legislation updates.
360° Inspection Photos now on the Android Agent Mobile App
We were so excited to launch 360° Inspection Photos for the iOS Agent Mobile App in our last release, and now our Android users can access it as well. Simply purchase an Insta360 camera and update to version 1.5.0 of the Android Agent mobile app to start taking and uploading 360° photos.
Bills AI accuracy enhancements
We’ve added some updates to make the Bills AI scanning process more accurate than ever. These updates include redesigning the user experience on the setup page, adding an ABN column to the Supplier’s grid as well as plenty of bug fixes and accuracy improvements. If you haven’t, try Bills AI today!
Updates to the enhanced Tasks layout
Last month we launched a huge update to Tasks, changing the layout to a brand-new look and feel. You may have seen this style when we updated the Profile page earlier in the year, and of course with the launch of Lease Renewals in May. In case you missed it, we will be gradually updating all of PropertyMe to this new design — and adding enhancements as we go.
MePay improvements
We’ve implemented changes to ensure that tenant ledgers don’t have any gaps. Any new pending MePay payments will not be displayed as MePay Credits under the Tenant folio > Rent Actions section.
