‘How is it already Autumn?’ is the question we’ve heard echoed throughout the office over the past few weeks. While the evidence of winter approaching is in the shorter days and slightly cooler weather, we haven’t let it slow our stride here at PropertyMe. March was a month for connectedness, celebration, and gratitude as we were presented with multiple opportunities to celebrate our team and community. It’s left us feeling warm and fuzzy, whilst also inspiring us to continue working hard to provide the best experience for our users. With that being said let’s take a look at what the month of March held for PropertyMe!
International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day was held on the 8th of March and was an opportunity for us to celebrate the accomplishments of the trailblazing women in both our team and industry. The day was also used as an opportunity to shine a light on both how far we’ve come and how far we have to go to achieve equity. Cheers to a bright and prosperous future for all!
Fiona Mott, Head of Sales and Joe Antico, East Coast Territory Manager had the pleasure of attending Property Management Partners’, International Women’s Day Breakfast at Albert Park in Victoria. The event was headed up by Nina Sutton and featured an insightful panel discussion from admirable women in the industry, including Fiona. We were so thrilled to be part of the event and left feeling inspired and uplifted.
Back in Sydney at PropertyMe HQ, we celebrated the day with afternoon tea. It was great to have the team come together to acknowledge our hard work and facilitate important conversations. We’re pleased to be part of such a forward-thinking team that prioritises equity and diversity.
Harmony Week
Harmony Week fell in the second last week of March and provided us with the opportunity to celebrate the diversity and heritage of our team. Our Australian-based team hails from over 28 countries, giving us the chance to learn more about each other and the world at large.
We celebrated the week on Wednesday the 22nd of March with our very own Taste of Harmony event. Coming together to celebrate good food is one of the most universally recognised experiences, and this is particularly true for our team. We challenged the team to bring dishes that meant a lot to them and were made with love. From Turkish Manti to Emperor custard puffs, Bratislava rye bread and so much more, we were certainly spoilt for choice!
Belle Property Breakfast events
In early March we wrapped up the last of the Belle Property Breakfasts, attending the WA and QLD events. The breakfast events were a great way to connect with our Belle Property community over delicious food and drinks. We were thankful for the insightful conversations we got to have with the team, as well as the opportunity to talk about MePay. We wanted to extend a big thank you to Melinda Cotton and the entire Belle Property team for their efforts in organising such exciting events.
Filming our newest case study
We also had the pleasure of meeting up with the team at Agents + Co in Maroubra in early March to film our newest MePay case study. The action-packed day began with meeting the team’s Director, Eleni Ramanous who made us feel welcomed and set us up for a stellar day! We were overwhelmed with just how warm and welcoming the team were and how customer-focused they are. They certainly signify a positive future for the industry, and we can’t wait for you all to see the case study. Keep your eyes peeled…
