October Release: The all-new Tasks experience and 360° Inspection Photos

The all-new Tasks experience.

We know that Tasks are the beating heart of property management teams and a good workflow = a great workday. So when our latest Lease Renewals feature was met with overwhelming praise, we knew we needed to take the love to our Tasks, Templates and Checklists feature.

When asked to describe our latest Task enhancements, Senior UX Designer Trevor was torn between Efficient and Powerful.

“I want to say efficient because the tools used most are front and centre. They are easy to see and right at the top to quickly apply actions. But I also want to say powerful because it connects with all of the tools in PropertyMe that are used regularly to get tasks done and brings them all to one location to access with a click.”

Updates to Tasks functions include:

• Auto-save functionality and inline editing
• A single timeline view for activity, messages, documents and comments
• The ability to modify the selected Owner, Tenant or contact on a Task — including the option to select ‘None’ for any of these.

Inspections capture a whole new perspective with 360° Inspection Photos

With a full 360° perspective, inspection reports come to life with more visuals, more viewpoints and more value than ever before. Property Managers can save time and transform the inspection experience by replacing hundreds of still images with a single, fully immersive 360° view.

Available for all inspection types, including Entry, Exit and Routines, 360° Inspection Photos deliver more value to Owners with less time on site. Inspection reports and 360 photos provide a first-class experience straight from the PropertyMe app and Client Access. 

Track rent increases per property

PropertyMe users can now seamlessly monitor increases, decreases and rent resets at the property level rather than tenancy.  All users can benefit from this feature and enjoy a unified view of rent history from the property’s activity, saving time on navigating through multiple tenancy records.
Fully compliant to assist Property Managers to stay on ahead of the recent Queensland legislative updates, for portfolios in Queensland, this will also appear when adding a new tenant or processing a review, delivering the information you need precisely when you need it.

Extra enhancements

Set default ‘show’ or ‘hide’ preferences for Documents

This is one setting that rebels against the ‘one size fits all’ approach, so we’ve put the power back in your hands! Administrators can now select a default ‘show’ or ‘hide’ preference for Documents to streamline your uploads and document management. 

Want to buck the company norm? Not a problem! This preference can be overridden in one click for each individual Document upload.

Use BPay for Folio Withdraw

A new type of field has been introduced when creating a Folio Withdraw. Choose between EFT, Cheque and BPay to reflect the type of withdrawal you wish to make.

Capture HEIC photos

The iOS Agent mobile app now has the ability to take photos in HEIC format.

High Efficiency Image Format is a newer image format used by iOS devices to save high-quality photos in smaller sizes compared to traditional formats like JPEG.

Filter by property labels for the Rent Roll Recurring Income Report

Our Reports are getting smarter month by month! Users can now filter by property labels for the Rent Roll Recurring Income report. It’s time to get customising!

Flag scammers and fraud easily with security enhancements

Warnings are now displayed in the Inbox when opening message threads or replying to emails from unknown contacts (those not in your portfolio or domain), helping you avoid potential scammers.

Transactions date filter

The default date filter for “All Transactions” is now set to the Last 24 Months, with additional options including custom date ranges. This enhancement greatly improves performance and loading efficiency.
