How much lead time do I need to start using PropertyMe?

Amanda is one of the longest-standing members of our Onboarding Team, having been with PropertyMe for just shy of four years. Her bubbly personality and sunny disposition have allowed her to lead new community members through their migration. Let’s take a look at what she had to share about lead time.

“That depends on a few things; how many properties do you have under management and are you migrating from another software?

We recommend a minimum lead time of 2-4 weeks. This gives the team time to complete our training and ensure they are feeling confident for Go Live.

If you have more than 200 properties and/or migrating from another software we recommend adding another two weeks to test and refine your migration.

Can you merge properties into my account if I’ve bought a rent roll?

Chris started his career as a Property Manager, which allowed him to understand the trials and tribulations our community can often feel. His insider perspective prepared him perfectly to join our established Onboarding Team in October 2023. He’s now moved into the Customer Success team imparting some final Onboarding wisdom before the move.

“Just jump into your settings and head to the MePay section. There are four quick sections to confirm your details before submitting your application. Our MePay support Team can approve your application in as little as 24 hours! Then, all that is left to do is to enable MePay for your tenants.”

I’m using another software, how can I move my data across?

With over six years of experience in Onboarding alone, she has become a trusted advisor and stable figure for our new community members as they navigate the move. “Our team has developed a migration tool that can do the hard work for you! MigrateMe can be easily downloaded straight onto your workstation and run at your convenience. We currently migrate from the following platforms; Console Gateway, Console Cloud, Console RPO, MRI REST, Palace Live, Palace Liquid, PropertyTree, REI Master, MultiArray, Managed App, Ailo and PropertyMe Export (CSV).

For customers using alternative software, we also have a CSV option, plus a number of helpful PropertyMe Partners for manual conversions.”

What kind of support do I get when I start using PropertyMe?

“The support each user gets will vary from person to person depending on your PropertyMe skill level. We tailor the experience to suit every individual. For someone who has never used PropertyMe in the past, we would recommend that we register for online webinar sessions with our trainer Scott, where they can get the most out of the tutorials. Including the option for Q&A’s.

Our one-on-one milestones also offer in great depth explanations and walkthroughs of using the platform to complete all the essential tasks successfully including Receipting & Disbursing. One-on-ones are incredibly helpful as they put the user in a comfortable setting, to absorb as much information and enjoy the learning experience. We also stay with you for weeks on end to ensure that when you do leave Onboarding you will be as successful as can be in completing your day-to-day tasks as a Property Manager.”
