2025 wasn’t just a big year for PropertyMe — it was a defining one.
A year shaped by smarter automation, deeper insights and, most importantly, the voices of the people who use PropertyMe every single day.
From AI-powered communication to next-level CRM capabilities, breakthroughs in Tasks and Checklists, major leaps forward in Automations and a faster, clearer Chat experience, this year was all about helping agencies work smarter, move faster and stay connected.
And the biggest driver behind it all?
You.
In 2025, of our 100+ features and enhancements, 66 community-led feature requests were shipped directly from your suggestions and votes… a powerful reminder that the PropertyMe community isn’t just using the platform. You’re building it with us.
If 2024 laid the groundwork, 2025 turned Automations into a true engine for smarter, more effortless operations.
Task Automations expanded with six core triggers, including task creation, assignment and message templates, followed by deeper logic, conditions, app compatibility and auto-creation of Lease Renewals. Whether it was compliance reminders, arrears workflows or recurring maintenance, Automations became the quiet force behind streamlined portfolios.
One of the biggest shifts?
Arrears Automation moved from Standard to Basic, unlocking one of PropertyMe’s most time-saving tools for every single agency. With flexible schedules, customised messaging and behaviour-based triggers, teams were able to stay consistently ahead of rent arrears without the daily chasing.
This was automation at its most impactful, saving hours, reducing errors and keeping portfolios moving with far less manual intervention.
2025 was also a huge year for clarity.
Insights and Reporting were redefined to surface the information that matters most: faster, cleaner and in real-time.
Inspection metrics were sharpened, Rental Statistics expanded, new widgets arrived (Rentals, Renewals, Inbox) and Dashboards became customisable, gaining more flexible filtering options. Gained/lost reporting became smarter with refined calculations, new mandatory reasons and additional context like ownership details and referrers.
The result?
A clearer picture of your portfolio’s health, delivered instantly and without digging.
Reporting also became more powerful, with new filters for tenant status, move-in and move-out dates, giving agencies more precision and control over their data than ever before.
This year saw the core of PropertyMe’s workflow engine level up in meaningful, everyday ways.
Teams gained:
It added up to smoother task management, fewer clicks, and workflows that finally felt as intuitive as the way teams actually operate.
Communication became faster, clearer and more connected across the entire platform.
Chat evolved into a true central hub for conversations, now available directly from the web with combined SMS/Chat threads, read receipts, mobile compatibility, broadcast messaging, templates, attachments and downloadable history.
Meanwhile, Owner and Tenant Access received a fresh new look with clearer layouts, improved navigation and smarter visibility for owners reviewing balances, statements or multiple-property folios. Routine inspections were refined to ensure timeframes aligned with PM communication.
Together, these updates made communication more transparent, more convenient and more personal.
Lease Renewals received a full redesign, complete with a dedicated sidebar, rent history graphs, last rent adjustment data, easier document handling and even a dedicated account category for renewal fees.
Inspections became faster with the new area switcher, cutting down movement time during Entry, Exit and Routine inspections.
Across admin and efficiency features, PropertyMe delivered dozens of improvements that made daily work simpler — from better rent tracker messaging and improved rent review filters, to bulk-archiving suppliers and refining activity logs. Supplier lists also received the new Last Transacted column, offering clearer insights into vendor activity.
Even banking got an upgrade with the next generation of Open Banking feeds, delivering more reliable, secure retrieval through government-backed architecture.
Bills AI continued to get sharper with improved flagged scans, smarter reading and a guided onboarding tour to help teams get the most out of automated invoice processing.
And while 2025 laid the foundation for AI-powered communication… 2026 is where it takes off. (👀 Hello, AiMe.)
Reply with AiMe builds on everything 2025 set in motion, bringing AI directly into the moments that matter most… everyday conversations. Designed for real property management communication, AiMe drafts context-aware replies inside Chat, helping teams respond faster without losing their voice. It understands the conversation, adapts to tone and intent and removes the friction of repetitive typing, so replies stay polished, human and consistent across the team. It’s a glimpse of where AI at PropertyMe is heading: practical, supportive and quietly powerful, giving agencies back time while keeping communication personal.
2025 also marked a major milestone with the evolution of PropertyMe Grow CRM, a powerful step toward connecting the entire customer journey, from first enquiry to long-term management. The new PropertyMe Grow CRM focuses on helping BDMs and sales agents nurture leads, automate follow-ups and build stronger relationships with less manual effort.
With prebuilt workflows, agents can now action new leads instantly. A simple update like marking a buyer’s intent, such as ‘Rent Investment’, can automatically trigger a fully mapped nurture sequence, complete with follow-up tasks, emails, SMS prompts and booking links for rental appraisals. Agencies can use these journeys straight out of the box or tailor them to their own growth processes with ease.
CRM also made day-to-day prospecting more structured, capturing key fields like rental estimates, interest levels and appraisal outcomes, while sending automatic campaigns such as monthly newsletters with just a few clicks.
And with inspection booking and open-home management now in development and beta testing, CRM is on track to bring even more of the customer experience into one place — helping agencies convert leads faster and manage every stage of agency growth with confidence.
As Chief Product Officer Scott Shepherd says:
“Our community is one of PropertyMe’s greatest engines of innovation… we’re building PropertyMe together.”
And as Chief Customer Officer Sarah Dawson reminds us:
“Smarter technology means agencies have more time to focus on people and that’s where real impact happens.”
2025 was the year PropertyMe stepped into its next evolution defined by automation, intelligence and a community of people shaping the future of real estate together.
Here’s to an even faster, smarter, bolder 2026. We can’t wait to build it with you.
