A peek into October at PropertyMe

Spooky season was upon us in October as we embraced all things weird and whacky in the lead-up to Halloween. From spider decorations to scary costumes and in-office trivia, we made sure to celebrate all things spooky this month. With that being said, we can now look forward to the end of the year with a renewed sense of joy and excitement. However, Halloween wasn’t the only reason to be joyful, we also had a handful of new New Zealand integrators join PropertyMe as part of our expansion to our sister nation.

As we think about what the rest of 2023 has to offer we’re both excited and optimistic, as we have many opportunities and projects on the horizon. We encourage you to take a look at what we got up to over the past month, as well as a sneak peek of what’s to come.

Quarterly company update

October was marked by our first quarterly company update. This update was exciting as previously we had hosted smaller monthly company-wide meetings, with this new format allowing us to take a peek into what each team is working on as well as celebrating each other’s wins over the past three months. Special mention goes to Shirshir from our Product Team who took us through an exciting new feature, keep your eyes peeled!

It wouldn’t be a PropertyMe celebration without delicious nibbles and sweets to keep us sustained. The afternoon was a great opportunity to catch up with team members who work remotely and get energised and excited about what’s to come in the next quarter. Cheers to a prosperous future!

October feature release

The final week of October also brought forward an exciting feature release, particularly for our New Zealand customer base. Within the feature release we unveiled a new enhancement and two highly requested integrations, these include:

Sensitive changes alert for consumers

We’ve enhanced our notification alerts to keep consumers informed about sensitive changes to their email addresses and payment methods. This ensures that consumers are always promptly informed when modifications are made.

Renti integration

Renti is one of the fastest-growing PropTech platforms in New Zealand, as they revolutionise the end-to-end process of securing a tenant, streamlining all processes from booking property viewings to digitally signing the tenancy agreements. The integration with PropertyMe enables our New Zealand users to increase efficiency by reducing double entry and keeping both systems in sync.

Sensor Global integration

Sensor Global provides more choices for Property Managers when choosing smoke alarm and compliance providers by creating a world-first ecosystem of intuitive software and always on interconnected smart devices. The integration with PropertyMe allows all users to better protect tenants and ensure compliance.

Catching up with the Laing+Simmons team

In mid-October, we had the pleasure of joining Michael Anania and the team at Laing+Simmons to learn about how they get the most out of PropertyMe. More specifically, we learnt about how their franchises outsource their Property Management operations to their head office, powered by PropertyMe. As a result, we filmed a case study with Michael, at the team’s idyllic Freshwater & Dee Why office in Sydney’s northern beaches. We cannot wait to show you the testimonial video, so keep your eyes glued to our social media accounts to ensure you don’t miss it!

@propertyme 🚙 We had the pleasure of heading over the bridge today to shoot with Michael Anania and Laing + Simmons. Halloween celebrations

The PropertyMe team had a spooktacular time this Halloween! We hosted an in-office Halloween party, with a costume contest and ghoul-themed trivia. On Tuesday morning, we were greeted by scary clowns, minions, Mario and a PropertyMe pirate. The occasion was a great opportunity for the team to unwind and have a laugh, over some tasty treats. Congratulations to Kelly from our Support Team who took out the costume competition, with a whopping 18-point differential. She even wore coloured contacts and topped up her fake blood throughout the day, now that’s commitment to the costume!

We’re heading to New Zealand

Here’s your friendly reminder that the PropertyMe team will be crossing the ditch in late November for TMC 2023 in Auckland and PMC 2023 in Wellington. We cannot wait to meet with and talk to new and existing clients alike. Our friendly Sales and Customer Success teams will be making the journey and will be on-site to discuss any PropertyMe queries you may have. We may even have a surprise keepsake for you to take home from TMC 2023. We can’t wait to see you all there.

Thank you for taking the time to read about October at PropertyMe, we look forward to sharing new updates with you again next month!
