Property Management
PropertyMe
January marked the start of 2023, and was a month of growth and progress, setting the foundation for a successful and fulfilling year ahead. After finishing the Christmas festivities, we jumped straight back into a month of hard work, exciting releases, and team events. It was a joy to come back together as a team, refreshed and renewed after a busy 2022, and we look forward to everything that 2023 has in store.
We wanted to take a quick moment to state that we’re incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and feedback from our community over the past year. Your trust in us is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we couldn’t be more thankful. We are dedicated to staying at the forefront of innovation in the property management industry and making your lives as Property Managers easier. Thank you for your ongoing support, and here’s to a successful and prosperous 2023!
With that being said, let’s see what January had in store for PropertyMe.
MePay is by far the most exciting and involved launch we’ve had to date, and it was amazing to see the process through, from ideation to execution. We were excitedly anticipating the launch for the entire month of January, with every team at PropertyMe contributing toward MePay in some way. We launched on the 30th of January, and there was a quiet buzz around the office, as Christina, Peter, and Scott prepared for their MePay live stream and the marketing and development teams prepared to go live. We celebrated the moment with cupcakes, a balloon banner, and congratulations to everyone involved.
MePay is our brand new payments feature and is the secure, transparent, and free way to save you time and money whilst managing your rental payments. MePay is free for Property Managers, tenants and owners, and is the only product that records payments in real time with no importing of transaction files or next-day receipt matching to be done. Lunar New Year fell on Sunday the 23rd of January, however, we welcomed the year of the rabbit a little earlier in the office. On the previous Friday, we hosted a Lunar New Year event as the first internal event of the year. With catering, beautiful decorations, and fortune cookies, everyone was left feeling full, both emotionally and physically. For some, the fortune cookies brought messages of reassurance and positivity for the new year, whereas other team members were left confused and bewildered after their mantras were revealed. After all, it’s more about what you can do for the fortune cookie, and not what the fortune cookie can do for you…
Our New Zealand case study also went LIVE in January, documenting the team at Harcourts Accommodation Centre’s time using PropertyMe. We originally met up with the team, headed up by Nigel Bowden, back in November to get an insight into how they use PropertyMe in aiding them to run such a successful practice. We were blown away by the team and how efficient, friendly and involved they were, it was a pleasure to meet them!
After two months, we were happy to release the project and provide our New Zealand community with more clarity about how PropertyMe can make a difference for their businesses. In conjunction with this, we have our Territory Manager for New Zealand, Sam Barker, located on the North Island who has hit the ground running since joining the team in 2022. Sam is the helpful face of PropertyMe across the ditch and is always available for a chat. To book a demo click here.
Not to be overshadowed by MePay, we also released a feature update earlier in January. The release included the addition of agent signatures to Entry Inspection Reports, as well as a compliance and utilities section, allowing Property Managers to complete reports digitally before providing them to tenants.
The release also included the addition of the primary contact and salutation to display the property and information from both the web browser and the Agent mobile app. Lastly, we’ve improved our security as we’re aware that this is top of mind for our community. Starting in January we began progressively rolling out our new PropertyMe Identity. Users will have access to extra two-factor authentication features. The new year always acts as a blank slate, allowing the team to start anew, both personally and professionally, as well as look at ways to improve our practices for 2023. As we’ve begun going through the motions of the new year, we’ve realised just how exciting 2023 is for PropertyMe. From industry events to releases and updates as well as the prospect of hiring new team members, we are thankful and overjoyed to continue working hard to make 2023 the best year yet!
