A peek into July at PropertyMe

July marked the halfway point of both the year and winter and had us questioning where the first half of the year has gone. Whilst we’re excited about the Christmas holidays on the horizon, we must admit we’re still mistakenly scribbling 2022 on our diaries. I’m sure we can all agree that 2023 has felt like a time warp, as the months feel like weeks it can be easy to forget all that we’ve achieved over the past six months. From a sizeable amount of releases, company milestones and the addition of new team members, we have much to be proud of and grateful for. We encourage you to take a moment as well to reflect on all that you’ve achieved so far this year, you might surprise yourself.

With that being said, let’s take a look at what July held for PropertyMe.

PropertyMe 10th Birthday

Without a doubt, the stand out of our month was our 10th Birthday. We can’t believe just how much time has passed since our conception back in 2013, and eagerly look forward to the next 10 years of innovation. In case we haven’t enough, we want to extend a massive thank you to our community for all of your support over the past decade, your valuable feedback has been paramount in allowing us to become Australia’s 1# property management platform.

We celebrated the milestone in-office, with the team’s shared gratitude permeating the office. The celebration was made even more special with the edition of a PropertyMe cake, cupcakes and champagne. Some of our team members also enjoyed firing confetti cannons to mark the occasion, which thankfully was not too much of a hassle to clean up! The team walked away from the birthday celebration feeling re-energised and ready to continue working hard well into the future.

National Property Manager’s Day

National Property Manager’s Day fell on the 21st of July and was an opportunity to celebrate all the hard work our community puts in. We see it every day, whether it’s anecdotally through comments made in our user groups, or through the statistics we see on our platform. We had the pleasure of celebrating the day with Nina Sutton and the team at Property Management Partners. Nina hosted a beautiful winter white brunch aptly in Melbourne for a select number of Victorian-based Property Managers. Fiona and Joe from our Sales Team attended the brunch and enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the community and listen to the insightful panel. They left the event feeling inspired by the Property Manager’s and partners’ stories.

Rounding out a fantastic month was the STAFFLINK Conference 2023, which fell on the 30th and 31st of July. We had our dynamic duo, Sarah Dawson, CCO and Fiona Mott, Head of Sales attend. The pair stated that the conference was a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community and pick the brains of the magnitude of guest speakers. Joel Davis and Jana Pittman were notable standouts, sharing their motivational tips and tricks, leaving everyone feeling full of wisdom at the end of the two days. We’d like to say a massive thank you to STAFFLINK for having us, and we can’t wait for next year!

Feature release: Tasks, Templates and Checklists

In July we had the pleasure of releasing our surprise feature, Tasks, Templates and Checklists! The feature was highly anticipated and met with a large amount of support and excitement from our community. The release included new task fields to effortlessly sort and prioritise, dynamic checklists to stay focused and task templates to streamline your process. The new templates allow you to take your productivity to the next level due to their customisable nature, for efficiency and consistency of your practices. If you haven’t already you can view our feature release here.

REIWA and REISA National Property Manager’s Day events

With National Property Managers Day falling in July, we wanted to ensure we took every opportunity to celebrate our community! Therefore PropertyMe hit the road, as we headed west to attend the REIWA and REISA National Property Manager’s Day events. It was great to meet with our West Coast community in the flesh, whilst also taking in the breathtaking sights of Perth and Adelaide respectively. Our West Coast Territory Manager, Rae O’Neill made the perfect tour guide. The action-packed two days were filled with tasty treats and thought-provoking conversations.

The Loop

It felt like only yesterday that we had our last Loop session when July’s rolled around. While we don’t like to play favourites when it comes to our live streams, we were particularly excited for this month’s as we were set to announce the release of our surprise features. Peter and Christina took the community through our new features and enjoyed the positive feedback. We also teased our new MePay competition, which allows you to win a team experience to the value of $3,000.
