A peek into October at PropertyMe

October brought a change in the air, both literally and figuratively. Here in Sydney, we were greeted by the sun, as the rain subsided and warmer temperatures prevailed. We also noticed the heightened sense of merriness within the team as we approached the end of the year and began planning our Christmas party. We also welcomed new team members to PropertyMe, who have hit the ground running and already made such a positive impact. In conjunction with our community who continue to be such a source of inspiration and support for us, allowing us to keep our finger on the pulse at all times! With all of that being said, let’s take a look at what we got up to over the past month.

Welcoming our Territory Manager for New Zealand, Sam Barker

Over October we were lucky enough to welcome a few new members to the team, and this included our Territory Manager for New Zealand, Sam Barker. New Zealand has always been on our radar, however with more interest perking up in the region paired with the addition of Sam, we are more focused than ever on growing our community in Aotearoa.

Sam joins the team with a wealth of experience and a sense of personability that has left a positive impression on team members and prospective clients alike. We managed to catch up with Sam who stated, “for me, starting a role with PropertyMe presents an exciting opportunity to have an impact on the growth of the business within the NZ market, I’m looking forward to working with the broader team and creating sound brand awareness while picking up some great market share over the next year”. When asked about his experience joining the team he mentioned that “I have thoroughly enjoyed my start here with PropertyMe, the onboarding process has been very good, balanced with fantastic support from Fiona [Sales Team Lead]”.

Gearing up for PMC 2022

In conjunction with Sam joining the team, we will also be attending PMC in Wellington on the 14th and 15th of November. We’re excited to speak with old and new friends alike and connect with prospective clients from across the ditch! Preparations have already begun as we prepare to bring some of our crowd-pleasing merchandise over from Sydney, alongside our friendly and excited team members. Ka kite wawe koe!

Welcoming our People and Culture Manager, Jessica Hill

We also had the pleasure of welcoming our new People and Culture Manager, Jessica Hill. Our team is the foundation of everything we do here at PropertyMe, and ensuring we have a strong foundation is of the utmost importance. With Jessica onboard we plan to continue strengthening our sense of community, whilst also endeavouring to maintain the longevity of PropertyMe well into the future.

We managed to sit down with Jessica and discuss not only her fifteen years of experience in the HR world but also what joining PropertyMe means to her.  She stated, “I’m excited to have joined the team. It’s been great meeting with the team over the past few weeks and hearing many ideas about our organisation, people and our culture. My focus will be to ensure everyone continues to be supported and provided with opportunities to do their best work. Watch this space!”

October release

Our team was hard at work over the past month, in preparation for our October release! The release included one highly requested new feature, as well as an update. The highly requested feature gives you the ability to print owner statements with paid bills. You can do this by using the Print Owner Statements with Paid Bills function to simply download or print a statement batch with owner statements and related bills during your disbursement process. 

The second update allows you to access property details within the PropertyMe Agent mobile app on both iOS and Android. Whilst viewing a property in the app you can add, view, and edit the access details of a property whilst you are on the go. Once you have added, viewed or edited the access details a record will save in your activity log to ensure maximum security at all times. October Live Session

With much to share, we were excited to bring you our October Live Session last week. Hosted by two live session veterans, Peter and Christina, we demonstrated our newest feature release as well as answered your questions along the way. We were grateful for the support and interaction we got on this month’s live stream, and we look forward to implementing your helpful suggestions in the future!
