May was a cyclone of a month, with the entire team being swept up in the fast-paced nature of PropertyMe. Tapping keyboards, chatter and general sounds of business were heard around the office. As new team members were welcomed and existing members headed around Australia for various industry events, contributing to the high-energy atmosphere that the month carried. Now that we’ve returned and had a moment to reflect on the last month, we’re extremely proud of all we’ve achieved from feature releases to connecting with our community at various events! We feel energised and ready to keep the momentum going well into the rest of 2024. With that being said, let’s take a look at what May had in store.
AREC 2024
If you’re a member of the PropertyMe community there’s a high likelihood that you’ve seen our AREC antics! From the incredible support we received to the memories we made with our team, we’re grateful for the experience and can’t wait to do it all over again in 2025. While the whole weekend had us on a high, notable moments included signing up a customer LIVE at our booth, as well as serving up an array of PropertyMe cocktails while Chief Customer Officer, Sarah Dawson and Chief Product Officer, Scott Shepherd shared what the future holds for PropertyMe. May Feature Release
It’s no secret that we get excited for every feature release, as the teams collectively put a lot of effort into making them come alive. This reigns particularly true for our May Feature Release, which involved sharing our new highly anticipated Lease Renewals feature, a new messaging functionality within Tasks, the ability to download Inspection photos in bulk and redefined Insights metrics. Our Lease Renewals feature is streamlined, centralised and sorted. By pulling information from across the PropertyMe platform, the efficient summary and detail views allow for a consistent source of up-to-date detail for the whole team. The Loop
In conjunction with our May Release, we had The Loop regulars, Product Manager, Peter and Customer Success Manager, Christina take us through our new May features. However, they weren’t alone as they were joined by Product Manager, Delainey who took viewers through Lease Renewals in great detail. LEADER by Sherrie Storor
Undoubtedly, AREC was a blast and left us feeling inspired and excited to chat with even more community members. So it was a no-brainer that we attended Sherrie Storor’s LEADER Event the following day. The event was a fantastic opportunity to chat with industry leaders and get energised about the future of Property Management. We also appreciate the love and special mentions that PropertyMe got throughout the sessions. The day was capped off with a heartfelt conversation led by legendary NRL coach and figurehead, Wayne Bennett.
Vivid office party
If you’re a Sydney-sider we’re sure you’re familiar with Vivid, the festival of light that takes over the city every May. After moving into our new office in 2023, we’ve been itching to watch the Vivid installations from our spectacular vantage point. So it was no surprise that we eagerly planned a party to mark the occasion. Complete with a live cocktail bar, NY-style pizza and glowsticks, the party was a great chance to get the whole team together and celebrate our recent release. Getting together, welcoming new team members and celebrating our accomplishments was a fantastic way to mark the occasion in Sydney. Now we can continue working into winter feeling refreshed and revitalised!
EOFY is on the horizon
As we’re sure you’re all aware EOFY is rapidly approaching, signalling one of the busiest times of year for the industry. We love EOFY as it allows us to share our tips & tricks for making the mid-year period a breeze.
