July Release: Automations, Bond Enhancements, Bulk Actions and more

In an industry where complexity is often accepted as the norm, PropertyMe is rewriting the rules, again.

Chief Product Officer at PropertyMe, Scott Shepherd said with every release, the company isn’t just shipping features, also solving real problems that Property Managers face every day.

“These can include increasing admin, compliance requirements and customer service pressure. Our July 2025 release is no exception,” Scott said.

“This month’s updates are practical, powerful and built for the real world of property management.”

Read on to see why PropertyMe remains Australia’s most forward-thinking property management platform.

⚡ Automations: Smart. Streamlined. Scalable.

For years, automation has been a buzzword in PropTech. But here at PropertyMe, it’s a working reality.

Our latest evolution of Automations lets you automatically create Tasks based on key events in your portfolio, like new properties, lease terminations or rent reviews. It’s not just about saving time (though you’ll definitely do that), it’s about removing friction entirely.

The event triggers include:

✅ New property added
✅ New tenancy added
✅ Upcoming rent reviews
✅ Lease terminations
✅ Break lease date added
✅ Vacate date added
✅ Arrears

You also get five ready-to-use System Automations, which can be customised to your processes:

⚡ New Property added
⚡ New Tenant added
⚡ Move-out date added
⚡ Break Lease date added
⚡ 120 days before next Rent Review

Plus, three new System Task Templates:

🔄 New Management Onboarding
🔄 Break Lease
🔄 Rent Review

Combined with our popular Task Checklist Automations, this release turns your most manual processes into set-and-forget workflows.  Due dates and team assignments can now be handled automatically.

The result? Your team spends less time following up or double-handling and more time doing what actually matters: providing exceptional service.

💡 Innovation Insight: These Automations were some of the most requested features from our community, a clear sign that innovation starts with listening.

⚡ Arrears Automation: Now available for everyone

Another big win? Arrears Automation is now available across all subscription levels.

Whether you’re managing 30 properties or 3,000, you can now automatically message tenants in arrears, for rent or invoices, with zero manual intervention.

You set the rules. We handle the timing, templates and delivery.

Plus, new filters and bulk update tools make it easy to keep tenant settings up to date, all from one place.

📅 Set due dates in Checklists

In addition to Automations, we have added highly requested functions to our Checklists!

You can now auto-assign due dates to checklist items inside Task Templates, perfect for handovers or multi-step processes.

💰 Bond Management reinvented

Bond top-ups. Rent increases. Due dates. Arrears.

If you’ve ever managed these manually, you know how painful it can be. That’s why we’ve completely redesigned the bond experience inside PropertyMe.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Set bond due dates at the tenancy or increase stage
  • Increase rent and bond together in one flow (with auto-calculated top-ups)
  • New reporting fields to help you track overdue, upcoming or current bond status
  • Client Access visibility so tenants know exactly what’s due and when

Plus, new Dashboard widgets let you see bond activity at a glance:

  • Bonds Due (0–60 days)
  • Bond Arrears (1–15+ days overdue)

This is more than a tweak. It’s a reimagining of how bond management should work in 2025: transparent, timely and fully integrated.

🧾 Bills AI, now even smarter

Bills AI continues to get smarter with new onboarding tours and improvements to flagged scans.

If you haven’t explored it yet, now’s the time. You’ll save hours every month by letting AI handle bill data extraction, validation and entry.

Flag an issue? No problem. Flagged bills now appear clearly in the Incomplete tab for easy follow-up.

💡 Innovation Insight: With AI in your corner, your team can shift from data entry to decision-making.

🔄 Small features, big impact

Innovation doesn’t always have to be flashy. Sometimes, it’s the thoughtful touches that make the biggest difference. This release is full of them:

🧹 Bulk Archive Suppliers

Outdated supplier lists cluttering your database? Use the new filters and archive actions to clean things up in minutes with no more manual one-by-one archiving.

📄 Owner Statement Previews

Preview statements directly from the Owner Folio, no more jumping between screens to check what’s being sent.

📲 PropertyMe App 2.0.12

Tenant Routine Inspection Cards

Routine inspection cards for tenants will no longer display specific timeframes, helping ensure consistency with the details shared by Property Managers. Tenants can still refer to their routine inspection email for exact timing.

Owner Portal Enhancements

Owners can now always view their current balance via the widget, with improved indicators to clearly display balances across multiple-property portfolios.

🔍 Streamlined Rent Review filters

Last but not least, we’ve refined Rent Reviews with powerful new filters. You can now:

  • Set dynamic date ranges in the Due Tenants tab
  • Process only selected tenants with one click

It’s the kind of update that doesn’t shout but delivers big when it comes to streamlining your day.

🚀 Still the industry leader

At PropertyMe, we believe innovation should be felt, not just seen. The best features don’t just tick boxes; they change the way you work.

This release proves that when tech is done right, it’s not just helpful… it’s transformative.

With every release, PropertyMe, the best real estate software platform in Australia, isn’t just keeping up, we’re setting the pace.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
