July Release: Rental Statistics Reporting Updates and Tasks on Agent Mobile App for Android

New Rental Statistics Metrics

If you haven’t already, check out our existing Rental Statistics Report that allows you to see how you’re tracking against your KPIs, all in a dashboard view! We’ve now added three new metrics to the report: tenancies, new tenancies and expired tenancies. So you can now access plentiful information regarding your total number of tenancies.

Not only is this report designed to assist your property management strategies, but it also streamlines your end-of-month reporting, head office reporting if required and allows for comprehensive Insights on a per-manager basis.

Redefined Insights Metrics

Sticking to the tenancy theme, we’ve redefined all tenancy-related metrics featured on the Insights dashboard. This makes up part of an ongoing review of our Insights metrics to make them more intuitive and user-friendly than ever before.

In this release, you can access metrics relating to tenancy length (average), fixed-term tenancies, periodic tenancies and weekly/fortnightly/monthly tenancies. Additionally, the Commercials widget has been redefined with a new calculation.

Tasks on Agent Mobile App (Android)

We received an overwhelmingly positive response to the release of our Tasks feature on the Agent Mobile App for iOS users earlier in the year. So, we’re excited to bring it to our Android community as well! You can now create, edit and manage tasks directly from your devices.

Task templates allow you to easily apply predefined templates for consistency and efficiency. Beyond that, you can also add, edit and track checklists within tasks to ensure that all steps are completed. Oh did we mention you can also filter tasks by priority, due date and assignee and attach documents by choosing or taking photos and selecting files directly to the task record from your device?

To access this game-changing update, make sure your Android device is on 1.4.0 and you’re a Standard plan user!

Lease Renewals Assigned to Field

We know how much you all love our new Lease Renewals feature, so we’ve made sure that innovating it is top of mind for the team.

You can now assign a Lease Renewal to a specific portfolio member:

  • Assign a member using the all-new ‘Assigned to’ field in the Lease Renewal detail page
  • Assign in bulk from the Lease Renewals list by clicking Actions > Assign to
  • Select an assignee when creating individual renewals via the Add Lease Renewal button

This makes it easier to foster team communication, as the assigned team member will receive a notification that links them straight through to the renewals that need their attention. As such ‘Assigned to’ is now displayed as a column on the Lease Renewals list for added visibility.

Additionally, we’ve added the ability to update the Lease Renewal status in bulk. If you’ve sent out leases to multiple tenants for signing, you can now update all of these renewals at once instead of opening them one at a time.

Select from multiple Owners/Tenants when creating a new task

When creating a new task and selecting a property, you’ll now find additional fields for Owners and Tenants. These dropdown menus display all active owner folios and/or tenant folios associated with the property. This enhancement is extremely useful for tasks where there is a change in management, as well as upcoming tenancies.

Enhanced Access to Archived Property Information

Archived properties can be a touchy topic for many Property Managers, as it can often be difficult to find the information you need upon archiving. That all changes as we’ve now increased the access you can gain on all archived properties. The Actions button is now visible, allowing you to see a history of owners, tenants and sale agreements.

Additionally, the Reports button has been made accessible within an archived owner folio. This enhancement will assist with performing tenant reference checks and accessing owner statements, cutting out the need to restore and re-archive the property. Talk about a time saver!

Promoting the PropertyMe App

Earlier this year, we released the PropertyMe app, an all-in-one solution for tenants and owners that provides a simpler, faster and more interactive experience.

So how can your Owners and Tenants use it? On a desktop, they will be greeted with a promotional panel. This modal offers two convenient ways to access the PropertyMe app. They can easily scan the QR code to download the PropertyMe app or click on the appropriate app store image to visit the PropertyMe app store listing page. For those on a mobile device, a smart banner will appear at the top of the screen. This banner provides a quick and easy way for owners and tenants to download the PropertyMe app.

Include Manager in Contact Reports

Lastly, you can easily include the Manager column in the following Contact Reports:

  • Client Access
  • Client Access – Owner Report
  • Client Access – Tenant Report
  • Contact Details
  • Contact Details – Owner
  • Contact Details – Supplier
  • Contact Details – Tenant
