PropertyMe, Australia’s leading property software company, attended Australasia’s greatest real estate event AREC (Australian Real Estate Conference), over the weekend to connect with customers and share business best practice.
Sarah Dawson, Chief Customer Officer at PropertyMe, said the two-day conference was a great opportunity to connect with existing and potential customers.
“PropertyMe was proud to attend AREC to connect with customers and industry peers — giving us an ample opportunity to share insights and demonstrate the innovation our products provide,” Sarah said.
“We also discussed our latest feature, Chat, which is an instant messaging tool designed to elevate and enhance communications between Property Managers, landlords and tenants.”
AREC was hosted at the Gold Coast Conference & Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 May 2025.
It’s designed to inspire and educate business leaders across all sectors of the real estate industry — including sales, property management and leadership development — for CEOs and business owners.
Some of the notable attendees included US Democratic Presidential candidate Kamala Harris, Olympians Emma McKeon and Ariane Titmus and entrepreneur and author Steven Bartlett.
“PropertyMe has a strong record of delivering innovation and value to our customers and that’s what makes us a dominant competitor in the property tech market,” Sarah added.
“At AREC, we showcased our continuous innovation and demonstrated that we’re constantly listening to our customers and delivering products that eliminate common pain points and provide value.
“Over the two days, we had almost 1,000 attendees visit our stall and discuss PropertyMe’s products and features, best practice in the industry and how we can help our customers and potential new customers elevate their businesses.”
Alongside handing out 500 personalised notebooks to attendees, PropertyMe’s staff discussed rent roll acquisitions and agencies wanting to scale their technology stack to accommodate larger rent rolls.
“These attendees had a lot of questions about business growth and how PropertyMe’s products and features can help support that alongside eliminating common pain points,” Sarah said.
“They loved hearing about our new Chat feature and automations that streamline larger operations, such as our Task Automation Feature.”
Some of the key takeaways from AREC was the importance of being authentic and developing relationships with our customers founded on mutual respect and trust.
“The importance of always evolving with industry needs and trends to ensure we’re always delivering our customers value is always at the forefront of what we do at PropertyMe,” Sarah said.
“We’re always seeking feedback from our customers and learning what they need to enhance and elevate their operations so that we can deliver those solutions. We’re never comfortable being comfortable.”
