When we look back on 2024 we’re left stumped at how quickly the year flew past, we even gained an extra day from the leap year! With the team working hard, releases keeping us busy and celebratory milestones creeping up quickly, the year was a flurry of development and innovation. We strengthened our bond as a team, which we believe has only increased our productivity and produced positive results for the platform. Beyond that, we strengthened our bond with you, our community. Through industry, partner and customer events, release notes and social media we were able to gain your feedback and questions and use them to provide you with an elevated product. We can’t thank you enough and are eager to continue innovating in 2025.
It’s hard to believe that The Olympics, King Charles visiting Australia, the US election, brat summer, Katy Perry’s AFL Grand Final performance, Raygun and Glicked weekend (Gladiator II and Wicked premiering on the same weekend for anyone not chronically online) all happened in 2024. Looking more specifically at our industry, we noticed that rapid developments in AI and tech innovation were centre stage. We relished being part of that, with our continued focus on bringing you a feature-rich and cutting-edge platform. With that being said, let’s get into the nitty-gritty of what 2024 meant to PropertyMe.
26 chances to connect with you in person
2024 was arguably our biggest year yet for events, as we attended over 26. As we’ve expanded the Sales and Business Development team over the past year, it’s allowed us to have a Territory Manager looking after every section of Australia and New Zealand. Because of this, we’ve had greater access to events and chances to meet our community.
Some of our highlights include PMC in New Zealand where we were joined by a live painter who painted portraits of guests, as well as our exclusive AREC dinner event that gave us an opportunity to connect with some of our users and industry leaders on a deeper level. Keep your eyes peeled for the events we have in store for 2025.
54 innovative features and updates released
Our ever-expanding Product and Engineering teams have been hard at work in 2024 releasing 54 features and updates to our platform. A continued focus on innovation here at PropertyMe has meant countless team brainstorming sessions, beta testing and user input touchpoints.
As any parent would say, we love all of our features equally and don’t play favourites. However, some that stuck out to us in 2024 were Lease Renewals, Paperless Entry Inspections, Contact Compliance, Tasks on mobile, and our ongoing new UI rollout. 6 celebrations as a team
To work hard and gain the best results from the team you must also be able to pause and reflect on your accomplishments. As such we took the opportunity to come together as a team and do just that, on six separate occasions. From boat parties to team inclusivity lunches and after-hours drinks, we relished the opportunity to strengthen our team bond and discuss what the future holds for PropertyMe. Special mention goes to our company Christmas Party that we celebrated last Friday, it was the perfect way to reflect on the past year by having a boogie to the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.

Our community is the lifeblood of PropertyMe, from providing us with feedback on our platform to sharing unwavering support, we appreciate it. As we reflect on the year, we’re left feeling grateful for the involvement of our community, demonstrated through the 199 user group conversations in our PropertyMe Official User Group on Facebook. Whether it’s helping new users with insider tips and tricks, or requesting new features or enhancements we’re glad to hear from you. 590 PropertyMe training sessions hosted
If you’re unfamiliar with Trainer, Scott, where have you been? He’s one of our superstars here at PropertyMe, providing live training sessions to our users. Hosting over 590 live training sessions in 2024, it’s safe to say that if this were a university he’d have a PhD in PropertyMe. Running an average of 11 sessions a week, Scott has seen many of your faces and answered many of your questions, covering all of our features and annual topics such as EOFY. 7 The Loop live streams
Coinciding with our major feature releases is our The Loop live streams run by hosts, Peter and Christina. While The Loop live streams have gone through many iterations since PropertyMe’s inception, the love for sharing our new features with our community has remained the same.
We were lucky to have five special guests on The Loop over 2024, including Product Managers Delainey, Tatiana and Pradeepa, CPO, Scott and Tamara from Balance Rec N Roll. Our Property Management & Me podcast is the brainchild of Marketing Manager, Industry and Growth, Kate. Kate has taken her love and knowledge of the industry and poured it into the podcast. Interviewing guests such as Hermoine Gardner, Ellen Bathgate, Melanie Poole and Sherrie Storor in 2024 the podcast has become a wealth of knowledge for anyone in the property management industry. There’s no doubt that TikTok is the way of the future when it comes to social media, so it was only natural that we began creating content on the platform in 2024. Twelve months later we have created close to 250 videos between our PropertyMe, Owner and Tenant accounts. It’s been fantastic to not only see our community grow on those platforms but also experience the joy and fun it brings our team members to be part of the content. From Gen Z social media pros to our TikTok illiterate team members just looking to have a laugh it’s been a fantastic journey to be a part of. If you haven’t already done so, follow us here.
