A peek into June at PropertyMe

June let us know that winter is here, and it’s here to stay! With longer nights, colder days, and the ever-present craving for comfort food. Whilst spirits have still been high in the office, the change in season has been noted with team members giving the coffee machine a workout and making frequent trips to the local ramen restaurant. With that being said, the cooler temps haven’t affected our productivity, with all of our teams working hard towards the EOFY. After returning from AREC 2023 we’ve had a small break from conferences (before they pick up again in July), which has allowed us to work on launching some exciting projects. We’re so proud of the effort the whole team has put in over the past month, and we can’t wait to see what the new financial year brings.

The Loop is back

We were long overdue for another livestream with Peter and Chrsitina’s smiling faces, and there was no better way for them to return to the big screen than with the fresh look of our new office. The Loop is your place to keep up with everything new at PropertyMe. In June we discussed what’s next for PropertyMe, as well as giving you a comprehensive breakdown of everything EOFY, to ensure that 30 June is as relaxed as possible. We were overjoyed to have Tam from Balance Rec N Roll with us to provide some top tips on EOFY prep as well as Tatjiana, Product Manager here at PropertyMe to take us through some exciting new features. Our podcast launched

At the start of June, we had the pleasure of launching our podcast, Property Management and Me. The podcast was the brainchild of our Product Marketing Manager and Host, Kate Sunol who has put her all into the project. We’ve been ecstatic to host industry visionaries such as Hermoine Hart from Sidekick, and Natalie Hastings from hastings + co. The podcast episodes are best enjoyed at the beginning of your weekly team meeting, or on the drive to inspections, with insightful nuggets of industry knowledge and inspiration. We wanted to extend a big thank you to all of our guests, as well as to our listeners. We cannot wait to continue growing the podcast, so make sure to check it out here, and keep your eyes peeled for future episodes!

Agents + Co case study

Back in early March, we had the pleasure of filming with Agents + Co in Maroubra, Sydney. The team took us through how they implemented MePay, as well as how their tenants get the most out of it. We had a blast filming with the team, as well as enjoying the beachy surroundings. So when it came time for us to share the case study, we were buzzing with anticipation. Birthday & Anniversaries celebration

The monthly Birthday & Anniversaries celebration has been a long-standing tradition here at PropertyMe. However, since the first COVID lockdown and the introduction of hybrid work, the celebration is something we’ve enjoyed virtually. That all changed in June, as we returned to celebrating our team in person! We had a moment of recognition for our team members who were celebrating personal and professional milestones, which was heightened with the addition of cupcakes! The celebration also served as an opportunity to welcome new team members whose smiling faces we’d seen around the office. We can’t wait to celebrate with the team again in July!

From our engineering teams who are constantly evolving and innovating to our onboarding and support teams who have worked tirelessly in the lead-up to EOFY. Don’t think we’ve forgotten about our sales and marketing teams who are always coming up with creative ideas to interact with our community. Thank you, team!
