“I can’t take a holiday or have a break without needing to at least check my emails.”
“I can only focus on sales or property management if I am going to be truly successful.”
“The only way a sales business can be profitable is if the Principal is always on the tools and selling.”
“I need to be an agency owner to achieve success.”
Identifying that if you sit a high-performing team beside another high-performing team they will improve their performance, increasing excitement, energy and positive competition. However, if you sit the same team beside another low-performing team, they will decrease their productivity by 30%.
Sherrie provides insights on structures and strategies to encourage both teams to leverage performance and stay out of the de-motivated slump.
Sherrie comments, “I do think the best thing that you can do is have the mindset of slowing down in order to speed up. And, you know, we’re all busy at the moment… But you do have to find the time to implement the systems and structures. Now, once you have got the right structures in place and you’re implementing them, they are set and forget. And then over time you do tend to get faster and faster at them.”
Kristen shares, “Something that I do with my team is we work out what are our non-negotiables in life end up work. And for me, one of those things is actually be the master of my own destiny. So for me, working for someone else doesn’t kind of fit my non-negotiables.”
