PropertyMe, Australia’s leading property management software, has unveiled its powerful new Automation feature, giving Property Managers more time back in their day by streamlining repetitive tasks and delivering unprecedented workflow flexibility.

The highly anticipated update enables Standard and Premium subscribers to build custom Automations that trigger Tasks based on key portfolio events.
These include the addition of new properties or tenancies, upcoming rent reviews and important lease milestones like terminations, breaks or move-outs.
“Within each automation, users can define actions such as sending messages, assigning Tasks to team members or specific Property Managers and setting due dates — all tailored to their unique business needs,” Sarah added.
The new Automations page, accessible from the main sidebar, becomes the central hub for managing workflows.
A standout enhancement is the upgraded Arrears Automation, which now supports multiple concurrent schedules — making it easier for teams to adapt communications during holidays or unique operating periods.
Basic plan users will also gain access to Arrears Automation. Alongside this feature release, Automation Studio will be deprecated, with the Bills AI setup now conveniently located within the Bills screen.
“All Automations come with a detailed History tab, allowing our customers to monitor execution logs dating back three months,” Sarah said.
“New notifications alert users when Tasks are automatically assigned to them — ensuring accountability and real-time awareness.
“No more worrying about mundane work admin tasks that drain your energy and consume your time — Automations will set you and your team up for success and help you get back to serving your customers!”
To make adoption seamless, PropertyMe is rolling out five ready-to-use System Automations and two System Task Templates as part of the release.
These can be easily cloned and modified, allowing new and existing customers to see instant benefits with minimal setup.
“As part of this feature launch, we’ve also updated the functionality of Checklist Automations to make our entire automations suite more effective for our customers,” Sarah said.
“This update includes a new action in checklists to update the due date of the Task automatically. We’ve also created more settings for the “Create Task” action so customers can choose who to assign that Task to as well as setting the due date automatically.”
From cloning Automations for faster configuration to unlimited rule creation, this release offers extraordinary flexibility.
Whether it’s automating standard Arrears follow-ups or syncing workflows with Task Checklists, the new Automations suite empowers teams to scale smarter.
